Great news. It would be amazing to have escalator in the circulating area. Bhagalpur station circulating area is starting to look very impressive.

Is this how the South Side entrance building looks like? I thought they were going to build some grand building. This looks like railway quarter with 4 ticket booths added. So, disappointing.

Bhagalpur already has a Rajdhani that stops at Naugachia for Bhagalpur passengers. Naugachia is in Bhagalpur district and the two stations are only about 20 kilometers away, connected by road. Think or do some research before posting ignorant comments.

No one is crying. Comparison is always made to something better, that helps us improve. Every city wants better rail facilities and it is a legitimate demand. Howrah Rajdhani was diverted via Patna once a week many years ago, despite Grand Chord being the shortest route. We have Rajdhani passing through Lucknow and Gorakhpur. None of these stations fall on the shortest or fastest route.
Having a Rajdhani pass through a route has many benefits. Track and signals will get modernized that improves speed for other trains.
